More information about the concert:
As a conductor and pianist, Hamlisch entertains with his phenomenally adroit piano solos and frequent bursts of improvisational humor. Audience participation is a unique and utterly thrilling element to a Hamlisch-led concert-everyone joins in the fun and laughter triggered by his witty repartee. As a composer, Hamlisch has won every major award-three Oscars, four Grammys, four Emmys, one Tony and three Golden Globes. His groundbreaking show, A Chorus Line received the Pulitzer Prize, and he is the composer of more than 40 motion picture scores, including The Way We Were and The Sting.
