Sallie Mae Fund 10K Fundraiser
Sunday, May 16 8AM
West Potomac Park, Washington, DC
The annual Sallie Mae Fund 10K event will raise funds for the DC College Access Program (DC-CAP), which helps DC public high school students enter and graduate from college. Sallie Mae wants to attract alumni groups to run in this year's race. The winning school/alumni team gets $10,000 donated to their general scholarship fund. Second place will receive $5000 and third place $2500. Not a fast runner? - the team ranking results from the top two male and two female finishers on the team and alumni teams that send 10 people to run in the race receive $100 and another $100 for each 10 runners after that.
A special alumni tent will be set up, which will be a great opportunity for groups to meet each other. If interested, please contact Bill Pegram at email@example.com or 703-486-0952. You can find more information about the event at www.salliemae10k.org.
