Treasures from the Russian Imperial Court

Join the Washington DC Stanford Association for a spectacular docent-led tour of the jewels, costumes, paintings, and icons from the Romanov dynasty. The centerpiece of the presentation--rare jewels and uncut gems--are traveling to the U.S. for the first time in history.

Tickets are $10 and will be held for you until the day of the event. If you wish to attend, please send check payable to the Washington DC Stanford Association to: Dell Wilkinson, 6401 N. 27th Street, Arlington, VA 22207; (703) 237-4818.

and show (8 p.m.)
Chelsea's in Georgetown

(between 30th and 31st, south of M St.)

What is "Capitol Steps?" It's a musical political satire, "funnier than the Congress," with contributions from the Cast and the Congress. THE WALL STREET JOURNAL writes. "The troupe has become a favorite on the Washington social circuit. It brings chuckles...rave reviews...guffaws...and bipartisan grins all around. The satire hits the mark."

Since the Capitol Steps will not refund money for unused tickets, we have reserved seats for only 20 people, but will increase this when numbers exceed 20 (which we expect, given the reputation of the show and our 10% group discount). No tickets will be issued. We will reserve tables and chairs early so as to guarantee close-up seating with other Stanford people. Please be punctual; dinner will be served from 6-8 PM. The show will begin at 8 PM and all food and drinks will be removed.

Please send checks (payable to WDCSA) to: Dell Wilkinson, 6401 N. 27th, Arlington, VA 22207; (703) 237-4818 (h)
